Viktor Ciroski

Overview

Viktor Ciroski serves as the NLP and AI Data Scientist at ALAS, specializing in cutting-edge Generative AI and semantic search techniques. He extracts meaningful insights from ALAS’s text data to empower internal teams in identifying new opportunities and trends that benefit ALAS member firms. 

Viktor, a native of metro Detroit, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Kettering University and a Master’s in Robotics Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. His graduate research focused on leveraging NLP techniques to enhance vision systems for learning from unlabeled data, resulting in a cost-effective solution to reduce bias in secondary feature characteristics. Over the past five years, Viktor has served as a data scientist at General Motors, where he spearheaded efforts to optimize data collection strategies through advanced AI methodologies. 

Outside of work, Viktor enjoys running, and is training for the Chicago Marathon. Since moving to Chicago, he has taken up woodworking as a new hobby and has set an ambitious goal to visit all U.S. National Parks.
