Nesheba Kittling, Senior Vice President of Loss Prevention at ALAS, was quoted recently in a Law.com article “AI Legal Malpractice? Law Firms and Insurers Are Playing Catch-Up”
In the article, Nesheba recommends private closed-off AI tools: “Think about the confidentiality issue where, if you’re putting client information into an open system, how that could get out and be used. We’ve seen that outside of the legal industry area where some companies have done that and then some trade secrets have been disclosed that way.”
