New Senior Underwriting Counsel

Recently, Katharine Mellon joined ALAS as Senior Underwriting Counsel in the Member Services Department. Kathy joined us from Dentons US LLP, where she was a partner in the litigation group and served as the firm’s Deputy General Counsel. She has over 20 years of experience leading employment, litigation, and enterprise risk strategy in complex, high-stakes environments and advising leadership on governance, compliance, and legal exposure.

Kathy earned her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and her law degree from The University of Michigan Law School.
