New Senior Claims Counsel

Recently, Regina (Gina) LaMonica joined ALAS as Senior Claims Counsel, working closely with member firms and defense counsel to respond to and resolve claims arising under ALAS’s policies.

Before joining ALAS, Gina was a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she investigated potential violations of the federal securities laws and represented the SEC in litigation and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the SEC, Gina was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP in Chicago, where she practiced in the White Collar & Investigations group for over 15 years.

Gina earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her law degree from The University of Iowa Law School.
