Gina works closely with member firms and defense counsel to respond to and resolve claims arising under ALAS’s professional liability, employment, and management policies. In her role, Gina helps firms navigate risk management and claims-handling procedures, including evaluating potential liability, implementing effective litigation strategies with counsel, and negotiating favorable settlements.
Before joining ALAS, Gina was a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she investigated potential violations of the federal securities laws and represented the SEC in litigation and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the SEC, Gina was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP in Chicago, where she practiced in the White Collar & Investigations group for over 15 years. She has extensive experience representing entities and individuals in government investigation and enforcement matters, as well as complex civil and criminal litigation.
Gina has been recognized by Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, Who’s Who Legal, and Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Women in Law.
