We are excited to announce the launch of 20/20 Hindsight. These training videos, each under 10 minutes, have been created to deliver practical loss prevention advice. The first four videos are now available. They address the critical topics of engagement letters, documenting client communications, conflicts of interest, and closing files. Each video includes an interactive quiz with multiple-choice questions based on the content. Viewers who successfully complete the quiz will receive a certificate of completion.

These videos are designed for lawyers who have experienced a misstep or need further training, for onboarding new lawyers, and for supplementing your firm’s loss prevention education efforts.
Firms can internally assign these videos to any firm lawyer for viewing. The videos are available in the Member Portal by clicking on “Resources,” selecting “Video Resources,” and then filtering by “20/20 Hindsight.”
Lawyers must have an ALAS account to view the videos. (First-time users will need to create an account using their firm email address and a password.)
We kindly ask that ALAS resources not be circulated outside your firm.
If you would like quarterly reports identifying who has completed the training, please send an email to Michelle Saad. Note “20/20 Hindsight” as the subject and provide the name and email address of the designated firm representative who should receive the report. If you prefer a different reporting schedule (such as monthly or semiannually), we ask that you include that preference in your email.
We plan to continue the series in 2027 with additional videos addressing important loss prevention topics. We’ll let you know when they are available. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for topics, please email them to Nesheba Kittling.
If you have any issues receiving or reading ALAS communications, please contact [email protected].
